With our roots running deep as preferred DJ's & promoters for the top venues in the Denver area & over 20 years also doing mobile events, we bring a modern flavor (no hokey DJ gimmicks) & fresh, adaptive style that will create the perfect vibe to any event. We also check our ego at the door and understand that your vision, guests, & event are top priority.
Why Is This Important In Choosing a DJ?
Most DJ's only spin exclusively in either clubs OR mobile events & respectively are often either "too much" (ego, performance, or otherwise) for traditional mobile events or "too corny" (out dated song selection, poor live mixing, or cringy/corny personality) for modern gigs and venues. We pride ourselves in being able to:
- Bring a fresh adaptive style where we can read & relate to any crowd and put them at ease & have fun!
- Bring experienced, technical mixing skills to perform a creative, clean, & continuous mix (instead of just fading in/out the songs).
- Keep your guests curious, engaged & entertained whether it be original tracks or unique cuts/remixes/mashups from our largest/most diverse song library in Colorado (over 100,000 titles) to compliment any genre, theme, or style.
- Provide professional, customizable sound & lighting packages or MC Services to make your next event your best event.
How It Started
Mirage Entertainment was founded by well reviewed & highly recommended DJ's Tluv (Mike Taylor) & Mr Groove (Damian Rodriguez). During college (Colorado State University) both were competing to be the favorite campus DJ. Deciding to join forces, Mirage Entertainment was born & both honed their skills & dominated the Fort Collins entertainment scene.
After both graduated w/ a B.S. in Marketing from CSU, Groove continued w/Mirage Ent. Mike jumped into the corporate world as a Product Manager for Agilent Technologies but his entrepreneurial drive & passion to entertain wasn't satisfied!
Mike soon became the destination manager for a premier travel/tour company in Mazatlan Mexico. He “had to” live on location for 6 weeks each spring & simultaneously gained recognition as a premier DJ for Colorado’s elite nightclubs while also entertaining audiences for MTV Spring Break in Cancun & Mazatlan Mexico.
As the saying goes, the rest is history! We've been blessed to have played for some of the most iconic events & venues across Colorado, the US, and internationally. Let us bring our experience and creativity to your next event or venue night!
